Competing against Scotland’s finest young talents in the 14-16 age group, Amelia McAulay showed exceptional poise and technical execution across both of her disciplines. Her relentless preparation over the last few months paid off as she clinched two prestigious national titles:
- Scottish National Champion – DMT Level 3 (Aged 14–16)
- Scottish National Champion – Trampolining Level 4 (Aged 14–16)
Setting New Personal Bests
Winning national gold is an incredible milestone on its own, but Amelia took her performance a step further by recording personal best scores in both Trampoline and DMT routines.
Hitting peak form during a national championship final requires incredible focus and mental toughness. Amelia’s progress shows how dedicated training combined with financial backing allows young Scottish sportspeople to push past their limits and achieve excellence.

Navigating high-level competitive gymnastics involves rigorous training schedules, specialized coaching, and significant travel expenses. With funding support from MSF, Amelia has been able to focus entirely on her athletic development, going from strength to strength with every tournament.
We are incredibly proud of Amelia’s achievements in Dundee and look forward to supporting her as she continues her upward trajectory in Scottish gymnastics!
