What a weekend for Murray Sharp Foundation gymnast, Finn Roache!
Finn took to the floor and put in an absolutely amazing performance at the British Regional Finals in Telford.
Competing in the Under 12 category, ten-year-old Finn faced the considerable challenge of competing against those up to two years older than him. Despite the age gap, Finn did more than just compete – he put himself amongst the big boys, demonstrating the kind of skill and consistency usually seen in more experienced gymnasts.
His coaches were absolutely delighted with his performance and overall progress for someone so young. Holding his own at a national event against older athletes is a massive indicator of his potential and determination.
Finn continues to be an incredible talent to watch. We know his parents are incredibly proud, and the entire Murray Sharp Foundation is thrilled to support a young athlete with such commitment and a very bright future.
