The Murray Sharp Foundation is incredibly proud to celebrate a monumental milestone for one of our rising stars. Gymnastics sensation Amelia McAulay recently travelled to the Telford International Centre to represent Scotland at the prestigious Home Nations Competition, and she absolutely shone on the international stage!
Competing in the high-flying discipline of DMT (Double Mini Trampoline), Amelia didn’t just hold her own against the best young talent in Britain; she took her entire performance to the next level.
Heading into a tournament of this magnitude is daunting enough, but Amelia chose this exact moment to push her boundaries. She successfully increased her routine difficulty, upgrading her passes so that every single one now includes double somersaults.
Executing high-level difficulty under pressure requires immense composure and skill. Amelia nailed every single one of her new double somersault passes, safely securing a coveted spot in the highly competitive Aged 15–16 Final. In her very first Home Nations appearance, she flew to an incredibly impressive 6th-place individual finish!
Amelia’s individual brilliance heavily contributed to massive team success for Scotland across the weekend. She returns home with some serious silverware, helping power:

True to her elite work ethic, Amelia is already back on the trampolines and in full training mode. She is currently balancing a rigorous schedule, including two intensive Scottish Pathway training sessions for both DMT and Trampoline.
The hard work doesn’t stop because she is set to wear the Scotland colours yet again at the Inter-Regional Challenge Cup in Birmingham at the start of July!
Watching Amelia progress, increase her technical skill, and win international medals for her country is exactly why we do what we do. Her dedication is an inspiration, and the entire MSF community is cheering her on.
