Gymnast Isla Carse Hits Commonwealth Qualifying Score

What a time for Gymnast Isla Carse!

We’re thrilled to share a fantastic update from Isla’s recent competition. Isla competed in a club team competition in Stoke and put in a brilliant performance, achieving an overall score of 42.85.

The most exciting news is that her vault score actually hit a Commonwealth Games qualifying standard! This is a massive achievement and speaks volumes about her dedication and power.

Like any top athlete, she had a few minor deductions, but her coach has estimated that without those faults, her score would be pushing the 45 mark – a truly exceptional result! The young athlete continues to impress by competing alongside gymnasts six to seven years older, with all signs pointing to a very bright future.

What’s next for Isla? Well, Isla is off to Leicester to compete in the Northern Euros with the Scotland team.
