The event, which saw attendees, sponsors, and supporters come together for a great day of golf and fun, was a resounding success and a testament to the commitment to the foundation’s mission. The funds raised will provide crucial support and opportunities for young people to excel in their chosen sports, upholding the legacy of Murray Sharp.
“We are grateful for the incredible generosity of everyone who supported our golf day whether that was in sponsorship, playing on the day, taking part in the live or silent auction or just general support for the event in any way,” said a spokesperson for the Murray Sharp Foundation. “It was also great to see our first two female golfers taking part this year and hope we can build on this going forward.”
