Murray Sharp Foundation
The foundation has been set up in memory of Murray Sharp. Murray was a great supporter of up-and-coming young sports people. They were golfers mainly, which was a great passion in his own life.
Murray also supported rugby clubs with direct sponsorship, including his local club, Birkmyre Rugby Club, where he also played. The company that he drove to such great success, Kooltech are sponsors of Glasgow Warriors.
We believe in giving young people the opportunity to create a better future for themselves through the experiences that can be gained through sport.
Our vision
Our charity looks to support young and aspiring athletes and sporting clubs who are prepared to put in the work towards their goals. We support the journey rather than the outcome as we hope to provide opportunities that help those athletes and clubs to have the experiences that they otherwise would not be able to gain.

To positively support the lives of aspiring young athletes and clubs through the power of sport and the experiences and opportunities this brings.
Our Values
Sport has at its heart such core values of Teamwork, Passion, Inspiration and Fun. We believe in the same.
As an Advisory Board we seek to honour the intentions of our friend by continuing the work he did, with his own time and resources, by creating a foundation that seeks to do the same. We all play, watch and enjoy sport together and our own friendships have blossomed through spending time together on, or beside, courses and pitches up and down the country.
At the heart of our programme is our desire to offer financial support to any young athletes and clubs who need such support to continue their journey where otherwise they would be unable.
