Golfer Aidan O’Hagan is steadily making his mark on the professional circuit, demonstrating consistent progress in his 2025 season with the invaluable backing of The Murray Sharp Foundation.
After a strong debut year in 2024, which saw him reach the final qualifier for The Open at Troon, Aidan’s dedication is clearly paying dividends.
The Murray Sharp Foundation, committed to nurturing promising young athletes, continues its support for Aidan through 2025.
This year, Aidan has been actively competing on both the Clutch Pro Tour and the Tartan Tour, gaining vital experience and honing his competitive edge.
On the Clutch Pro Tour, Aidan has showcased impressive form, securing notable finishes. He delivered a strong 4th place finish at Surrey International, highlighting his potential, and followed that with another excellent performance, finishing 5th at Lingfield Park. While the round at Ogbourne Downs was unfortunately cancelled, limiting his opportunity, he continued his consistent play with an 8th place finish at the Stromberg Masters.
His appearances on the Tartan Tour have also provided crucial learning experiences. At Montrose, Aidan faced a challenging week and missed the cut, but he bounced back strongly with a solid 17th place finish at Blairgowrie. The Par 3 Champs proved to be another missed cut, highlighting areas for improvement in specific formats. However, he secured another respectable 17th place at Portlethen, his culminating Tartan Tour event.
Aidan’s journey from college golf in America to the professional ranks has been marked by determination and an unwavering focus. The Foundation remains dedicated to providing him with the resources and encouragement he needs to reach his full potential.
