Murray Sharp Foundation’s Inaugural Golf Day – 21st June 2024

We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in and supported the recent Murray Sharp Foundation golf day on 21st June 2024. Your generosity and enthusiasm made the event a resounding success.

A Look Back

Last year’s event was a fantastic turnout, raising an incredible £84,809.00 and we would once again like to express our thanks for the unbelievable support and generosity shown by everyone on the day.

This year’s golf day was even more incredible and we were overwhelmed by the support and camaraderie displayed by all attendees.

Making a Difference

Thanks to your contributions, we were able to raise over £84,000. These funds will directly support young athletes in our community, helping them achieve their full potential.

Once again, thank you for your continued support in helping our young athletes and raising money in memory of our dear friend. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s event!

Some highlights from the day:

• Struan & Sandy Sharp (Murray’s 2 x Son’s) hit fantastic opening tee shots to get the day started
• Beat the Pro was very kindly hosted by Derek Watters from Gourock Golf Club
• Jonny Sharp of the Carrick helped us out once again with the golf administration for the day
• The Campbell brothers along with our Gavin Bell – Very kindly provided the on course refreshment stations/pop up bars
• Alan Tait (PGA Pro) – Once again provided great entertainment & was the master of ceremonies
•  It was a delight to have Sam, Sara, Struan & Sandy there on the day and at night to present the prizes
