In the Gym with Isla Carse: Perfecting Skills for a Big Future

Gymnast Isla Carse is hard at work in the gym, with her eyes set on significant goals over the next two years.

Her current focus is on perfecting new skills for her upcoming competitions, which include the FIG Junior and British Teams events this autumn.

Beyond 2025, Isla has a major ambition to qualify for the Commonwealth Games in her home nation, with the event taking place in Glasgow in 2026. The journey to that goal is already underway, as she builds the routines needed for the critical qualifying championships.

Her dedication was on full display this past August, as Isla attended the Scottish National Performance Camp at the NTC in Largs and was also thrilled to accept an invitation to the Great Britain Home Nations Camp in Lilleshall which is a Centre of Excellence for Gymnastics in the UK. These high-level training environments are crucial for her continued progress.
